MarketingBites ''Branding'' Event Attracts A Record Number Of Delegates From Major Brands



Big fish Recruitment have announced that a record number of marketing profesionals from major brands in the Midlands attended the exclusive MarketingBites Branding seminar on Friday 9th March at the Fort Dunlop Building in Birmingham.

Over 80 organisations registered their senior marketing professionals to attend the event, including BT, Alliance & Leicester, Avery Weigh-Tronix, Betterware UK, Mitchells & Butlers, Care Knight, United Refrigeration, Royal Doulton and Heart FM.

The event had the support from some of the industrys key players with sponsors and exhibitors including large independent advertising agency, Rees Bradley Hepburn, leading Midlands print group, Folium, online marketing specialists, Miromedia, and specialist marketing magazine, The Drum.

Talking about the success of the event, Nicola Kleinmann, Managing Director of Big fish Recruitment, said We used the feedback from our extremely successful creativity event in September last year to establish an exciting new seminar on branding that would provide delegates with a range of proven ideas and inspiring tips for building their corporate and personal brand. The end result was a stimulating event that was a perfect opportunity for marketing professionals to find out whats new and to be inspired.

MarketingBites was held at the Fort Dunlop Building - one of Birmingham's most famous landmarks - and the event also included a guided tour to see how award-winning property developer Urban Splash has breathed life back into this renowned building.

The speakers for the event were as follows:

David Poole, Giles Poyner & Paul Castledine, key directors at global award-winning agency, Boxer Creative, who made an inspiring contribution to MarketingBites with a session that took delegates on a fascinating journey through the branding process. In an entertaining and information packed session, David, Paul and Giles talked passionately about the award-winning work they've done for global brands including the McDonalds Corporation.

Krishna De, Managing Director at One Ocean Group and one of Europes leading personal branding and marketing strategists, followed with a fascinating talk that explored how to use powerful branding and marketing strategies to build a strong personal brand on-line and off-line.

With over 20 years expertise in growing global businesses, Krishna used her ability to engage the audience in an entertaining and informative session that delegates described as thought-provoking and captivating.

The seminar programme concluded with a superb talk by Nathan Cornish, Director of Development at pioneering property developer, Urban Splash, who gave a thought-provoking session into how Urban Splash have consistently delivered its unique brand promise on landmark buildings throughout the UK. Nathan explored some of Urban Splashs most exciting regeneration projects including the hugely successful Fort Dunlop and Rotunda projects in Birmingham.
